School without racism

The vote to be a school without racism has been successfully
completed. The election day was a great day, which Mrs Beukes-Meyer
and Mrs Towfiq did a great job of preparing, organising and running. 80%
of the school community voted for us to become a Courage School. The
next stage will be to hold a big assembly where we will be presented with
the certificate and a plate for the school wall. This award gives all of us
an obligation and an incentive to oppose any form of racism and
discrimination within our school, to teach and train the pupils and to
appropriately and gently clarify any situation that arises and resolve the
problems to everyone’s satisfaction.
